Private Client (owner built), Waterford, WA, Architect Gérard Siero 2000-3:

The name comes from the roofscape, which is like a series of waves breaking on a beach. The house has two self-contained but linked apartments. The design "borrows" visual landscape space from an adjoining park to the North. Living spaces open to a north garden. Car spaces are placed behind and to the side so the forecourt area and the house, rather than a garage, form the visual focus on arrival. Construction features reconstituted limestone masonry walls, direct-glazed structural steel window wall with low-e glazing and louvres. Construction documents were tailored to support the owner builder′s role, including additional details and drawn schedules.

Project Architect: Site analysis and planning, consultant coordination, design and documentation, representations and approvals.
